Spring is just around the corner! It‘s time for renewal and new beginnings. Can you feel the magical vibrations waking up all around you?? Mid March welcomes in the Spring Equinox (known as Ostara) - a festival of new growth. It marks the beginning of Spring and the time when days and nights are of equal length. Our night sky becomes blanketed in bright stars, the once dormant bulbs are now beginning to emerge through the earth, and especially that ‘Spring Fever’ that effects everyone!!! If you were lucky enough to be struck by Cupid’s arrow last month, your hearts are practically beating out of your chests!
As new life springs from the earth, let's explore the things that might be keeping your life from flowering this month, and in the months to come. Just like a garden, we need to prepare the soil by pulling the weeds, fertilizing the ground with nutrients and making a new plan. What are the seeds you want to plant, what beautiful creation are you willing to pro-create with Mother Earth and the Universe? Take a minute and think about it.
I believe in manifesting your dreams with visions, spoken words and thoughts. When the cycles of the seasons, as well as the moon cycles, support that which your desire – take note and take advantage of this alchemy. It is a gift to you.
A few suggestions for making this special time manifest for your life:
Prepare egg dishes and share them with friends. Organize egg games, such as egg hunts.
Decorate your home with spring flowers and sprouting greens.
Wear green clothing as an affirmation of new growth within yourself and Nature.
Bless any seeds you plan to plant in your garden.
Begin a new project.
Make a growth charm out of a hard-boiled egg -- decorate it with symbols, write on it the quality you would like to manifest more fully within yourself, energize it, and then eat it.
You can also create a Charm Ritual on a yellow, green or white candle. This is done with oils, etching of your desires, visualizing them coming to you and then burning it. Magical!!!
Remember that I am here to assist with any questions you might have about where you are going along your new path, which patterns need to be addressed and possibly removed, health issues that might be slowing you down, a special relationship, or just about anything else weighing heavy in your heart.
A last thought: from the last chorus of Bette Middlers, "The Rose"..."Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows, lies a seed that with the Sun's Love, in the spring, becomes the Rose".
