Love Nature? Teas? Herbs? Well so do I, so much in fact, that I actually turned my property into a Garden Tour for
NC Agritourism Dept. Hi, I'm Karen Corey, garden buff and advocate for self-sufficiency. My CoreyGardens.com
was set up to be small gardens anyone can plant in NC and have herbs, spices, teas, herbals, flower essences, fruits
flowers, veggies & eco systems for the honey bees, birds, butterflies and other outdoor creatures. The drought in 2006 (?) put
a major damper on things by wiping out my gardens, but I did keep my nature blog going with interesting articles and replanted
my "tour" over these past years. To my surprise, I suddenly realized that I not only have a very wide variety of plants & eco systems,
but I also am more self sufficient & "disaster prepped."
In realizing that a lot more people are looking to be more self sufficient, eat naturally and grow organically, I decided to take my CoreyGardens in Wake Forest
and actually duplicate what I have done and document it for members. This way I can educate/demonstrate by video and give Virtual tours of how to set up
your gardens in your back yard and why. What & how to grow for food, tinctures, teas, spices & so much more. There's really
a lot one can do in their back yard with little space, just depends on what you like & have ineterst in.
Stay tuned - CoreyGardens.com will soon be offering Live & Recorded Webinars on planting, education and harvesting.
Did you ever hear of a Potato Patch using old discarded tires? Well you will soon.
Blessings,
Karen Corey
