In the last month, since my relocation to my home state of Florida, I have met many wonderful new friends, as well as many friends from my past. I have been caught up in the energy of getting settled into my new home and searching for a new space for Stardust Emporium. Along this journey I have received many blessings from people who have extended their assistance in helping me to do this and also connect me with the community.

During many conversations we exchanged what we did for creating our financial livelihood. I was enlightened by learning of their individual talents. It seemed that many of them had a service or an item that I was actually looking for. Once I shared with them about myself and what I offered, I was amazed at the reaction! The conversation immediately went to an ‘energy exchange’ or ‘barter’. This approach to swapping one talent, or gift, for another is so exciting and got me thinking.

What did we use to do before the paper exchange came into play? We bartered our services and talents! The economic situation is only as bad as people think it is. As far as I am concerned, it has opened many eyes to creating another way of staying in the flow. We all contain many special talents and when we can offer them in exchange for something we really desire, the vibration is out of this world!

Think about the last time you offered up one of your special gifts in exchange for a service or gift from another’s heart. Were you embarrassed at the thought of asking for an exchange or did you get excited about the opportunity before you? How did you feel as the giver and the receiver? I believe that this is the core of our evolution. Everyone benefits and there is no middle man, or ‘paper money’. In this regard, I am not saying to totally transition over, just be a bit more creative.

I would really like you to think about this the next time you are in this type of situation. Think about what you can offer and make someone’s day by accepting their gifts. If you are a parent with young children, wouldn't this be a wonderful lesson to instill in them. That little stone in the pond will start a beautiful ripple that will continue to grow and touch many in its vibration.
